Abstract: | This study sought to measure the competencies of second-year students in educational sciences in the educational measurement and constructing school tests in an objective manner, and for this was constructed a criterion referenced test to the Rasch model, the test consisted of (61) items of the type of test multiple choice (4 alternatives), was applied to a sample of (298) students, and the results of the study reached the realization of undimensionality assumptions –local independence - parallel to the item charachtiristcs curves, and the results showed inappropriateness (12) item and (6) persons for the requirements of the Rasch model and therefore were deleted, and the values of the difficulty level of the item ranged between (-1.67/1.48) Logitt, while the level of abilities of the persons was estimated at (-3.38/3.38) Logitt. While the cretirion referenced test had good psychometric characteristics, the reliablity coefficient of persons was (0.87) with a separation coefficient (2.64), which showed (4) levels of ability among persons, while the value of the reliability coefficient of items was (0.96) with a separation coefficient (5.11), which showed (7) levels of vertebral difficulty. |
