The right to vote is intrinsically linked to the constitutional framework of a democratic system, which derives its legitimacy from the will of the people expressed through citizens' exercise of this fundamental right. The participation of individuals in the management and administration of their local affairs, albeit indirectly, is among the fundamental rights guaranteed by various constitutions and national legislations. These legal frameworks have added further safeguards to protect this democratic principle from all angles. This commitment to safeguarding the right to vote is evident in entrusting the noble responsibility to the administrative judiciary. Despite the challenges and limitations it faces, particularly in terms of the scope of its oversight over local elections, its role in overseeing the electoral process, as a form of judicial oversight over administrative actions, remains one of the most effective and secure means of protecting individuals' rights and freedoms. This is due to the extensive powers granted to it, allowing it to monitor the decisions of the independent national electoral authority and take action if they violate the laws and regulations, thereby ensuring the legitimacy of elections. In doing so, the administrative judiciary reinforces electoral justice and upholds the principles of a state governed by the rule of law and justiceen_US
