Abstract

No one can denies the importance of the media in the life of individuals and modern societies because of its ability to produce information and, published to meet the needs of the public. The importance of the media increase in time of natural disasters, what caused the latter to an imbalance in the pattern of society. The media is supposed to have a strategic role in managing, containing and reducing these disasters, either by providing data or a conception about the disaster, or make a plan to maintain the stability of society, or in coordination with and between stakeholders. so we decided to discuss the environmental media in natural disaster management.
