dc.description.abstract | The aboveground nurseries recently installed are moving increasingly towards the replacement of peat by compost and / or methacompost. This interesting solution has some limitations on the physical comportement and therefore and water quality. Two possible routes of physical improvement: Variation of the particle size of the substrate or its use with another enhancer substrate. It is the latter which is an integral part of this study, whose primary aim is the direct evaluation of the physical parameters and of water some growth substrates by recourse to a suction table. Substrates based mixing peat and poultry methacompost refined cannot be considered good growth substrates because of their porosity of insufficient ventilation (substrates retainers), which justifies their mixture along appropriate proportions with the forestry crude compost which has a higher porosity aeration (substrate aerator). Point of water to the poultry methacompost pure has the lowest water availability, but its ability to retain water is very close to the old peat. The restricted at 10% of methacompost poultry and 10% compost forestry partial incorporation seems optimal under the experimental conditions considered. | en_US |
