dc.description.abstract | African American music has great place in the American culture. Because of the coming of Black faces to United States, they brought with them their various traditions, and one of these traditions is Music. This study will explain how the African American music influenced the American society and imposing its power over the American culture. In addition, it will show us the different stages of the music development and the factors and figures that helped in making the African American music universal music. In other hand, this study will explain how the African American music reaches the American theater and succeeded in making the black performance known by the whole world.
