Abstract

The logical implementation of ideal cities over the centuries aims to make a perfect society, organized in a balanced way, particularly in terms of liveability. The modern neighborhoods of social housing group, as providing a healthy environment for all, are made on mathematical bases, regardless the social, environmental and urban dynamics aspects, even, draft of urban utopias that were impregnated with an economic logic that determines patterns of organization of societies, where the dominant trait remains the construction of a great number of housing at the expense of aspirations and welfare. At the dawn of the third millennium, the urban design, as an alternative, has just created another logical human thinking, based on evaluation methods and indicators in relation to the target project.
