Abstract: This study deals with the role of the European Union in activating the good governance in Tunisia from 1995 to 2016. This is due to the great role played by the European Union in its way of dealing with the State of Tunisia and the quality of initiatives granted by the European Union to Tunisia. Of which. Through these initiatives, the State of Tunisia is working to adapt these initiatives to the situation it is experiencing in order to contribute to crisis analysis and to find a solution to these crises. The relationship between the EU and Tunisia is long and strong. Tunisia is among the most important countries of concern to the European Union because it is among the most countries that serve the interests of the European Union. The change in the situation in Tunisia recently affected the EU countries and its relations with Tunisia. On this basis, most of the initiatives in recent years were aimed at supporting democracy and good governance in all its forms. The European Union is considered the best way to guide the crises experienced by any country, and on this basis to develop a series of initiatives that are based on the rule of democracy and democracy. Tunisia was the first country to adopt such initiatives within its own country. The possibility of activating the role of good governance in the consolidation of the foundations and elements of the democratic system of action has fallen back to the ability of States and their will to improve their internal situation and build a good relationship with foreign countries
