Abstract: This study aims at the extraction of essential oil of eucalyptus for liquid-liquid equilibrium of a ternary system, from technical distillation by Clevenger Romarin. Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for ternary system of (water + propanoic Acid + Romarin oïl) is studied at constant temperature 18 ±1°C and ambient pressure. Distribution coefficient was calculated to evaluate the solubility of Romarin oil. The diagram for ternary system in this work including the experimental was presented. The selectivity was calculated to evaluate the efficacy of solvent. The reliability of the experimental tie-line data was ascertained by means of the Othmer-Tobias and Hand correlations. Key words: Liquid-liquid Equilibrium, ternary system, carboxylic acid, Essential oilen_US
