Abstract: Among the modern requirements and the opening up of the markets emerged information technology and communication And became a necessity for the work of institutions and lead Therefore, during our study, we identified information and communication technology (ICT) with its five components (physical components, individuals, software, databases, networks) and four-dimensional competitive advantage (quality of services, market control, innovation and development, efficiency of operations). And through our research we tried to answer the problem posed:  What is the role of information and communication technology in order to achieve competitive advantage within the economic institution? Based on this problem we found that:  There is a significant statistical significance for information and communication technology in achieving the quality of services  There is a statistically significant role of information and communication technology in achieving market dominance.  There is a significant statistical role for ICT in achieving innovation and development.  There is a significant statistical significance for information and communication technology in achieving the efficiency of operations Finally, we reached:  The existence of a significant role of statistical significance of information and communication technology in different dimensions in achieving a competitive advantage in the industrial complex of cement.
