Etude technico-économique des unités de conditionnement des dattes dans la région de Ziban (Tolga)

Abstract

The date processing branch occupies an important place in the agri-food trade balance, in order to have a better knowledge of the situation, structure and functioning of cold rooms and date conditioning units in the Ziban, a survey was carried out in the most important phoenicultural region of Tolga country. Through the five packaging units and 25 cold rooms it is said that they are characterized mainly by very weak structures and production capacities, the majority of these units market the dates without any treatment. On the other hand, the conditioning of dates remains limited to the variety Deghlet Nour. Technical study showed that the operations of conditioning the dates in the packing units especially the storage units are very traditional and traditional. The economic study showed a fluctuation of prices depending on the conditions of the current year and the demand These units suffer from many problems, especially the specialized workforce in particular.
