In order to explore ways of biocontrol against fungal rot of the date palm inflorescence in the Biskra region, testing the antifungal activity of essential oils of Mentha pulegium, Ruta chalepensis and Artemisia herba alba Asso have been made. The essential oils obtained by hydrodistillation, the yields obtained are 1, 04%, 0.41% and 1,24% raspectively. Antifungal activity of these oils has been studied against Maugenilla by the technique of direct contact. The essential oil of M. pulegium which was the most active, 100μl extract was sufficient to completely inhibit mycelia growth.
