The work discussed in this report, focused on the study of glass optical fibers and in particular fiber glass silica to allow the identification and distinction between the different types of glass fibers used in telecommunication in theory as in practice. To do this, this study first consisted of developing mono fiber structures by the technique micro pulling down (.P.D), homogeneous, transparent and single-phase. The realization took place at the laboratory (Leam) at Badji Mokhtar Annaba Univer . For the analysis of the single-phase structure, we used X-ray diffraction on crushed fibers and then optical analysis for constancy of diameter along the fiber and finally Raman spectroscopic analysis. To conclude that it is free from defects. Thus, the fibers obtained are transparent, homogeny and single-phase. The purpose of this study is to arrive at doubled optical fiber frequency. Key words: SiO2, single mode, micro pulling down, single phase, optical fiberen_US
