Abstract: The study on the topic of "Protection of children in Algerian legislation" focuses on the amendments to the various laws and legal texts relating to children, following the ratification by Algeria of the Convention on the Rights of the child mainly and the regional conventions and subsequent protocols thereto, and Also know the commitment of the Algerian legislature to implement and keep abreast of these agreements in line with the current conditions in the society, as well as to examine the extent of its ability to absorb the latest developments in the community and to cope with the various changes that have taken place in order to ensure the protection of children from the Attacks that may affect them, and enshrine the rights guaranteed to them. The Algerian legislator does not look at children as individuals like other members of society who intervene to protect them, but takes into consideration their "children ", their vulnerability, their young age and their lack of awareness both in their actions and in the acts committed against them. Is the legislator in accordance with the necessary protection for the category of children in society, and to what extent?
