dc.description.abstractPolitical culture is a set of values, principles and concepts that shape our life, as well as the political process, as well as its essence and influence on the behavior of society, both political and sociel. Where its role is to distribute political currents, values, feelings and information, as well as to conduct the behaviors of politicians and citizens, and determine their positions, through the political system in Algeria. We touched the analysis of the political system Algerian under the one-party system and the great influence of the military elite on governance from 1962 to 1988, We came to the conclusion that political culture under unilateralism was narrow and closed, based on the idea of exclusion and marginalization. We treated analyzes the reality of the political system after the political pluralism defined by the state through the Constitution of 1989, We also came to the conclusion that the beginning of political openness and political participation and its repercussions, but it began to revert to the former control by the ruling elite. As a general result, the ruling political system must rethink its political culture that lacks legitimacy by the people. This has led to Algeria entering a cycle of endless protests and demonstrations and seeking other sources on which to depend on a change of culture of legitimacy.
