Abstract

This research is part of the study of the relationship between the interior and exterior with its impact on the integration of cultural facilities in the urban environment and their application in a cultural center to achieve several objectives: urban integration in the environment and achieving the continuity between the interior and exterior. For that, a descriptive research methodology was adopted, which led to the structuring of the memory into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part, the first part contains the conceptual study of the relationship between the interior and exterior and the integration of the cultural center in the urban environment. The second part consists of two chapters: an analytical study of the cultural center project and in addition to another chapter talking about the design of the cultural center project. In the latter, this work culminated in the completion of the Cultural Center project in the town of Touggourt, covering an area of 6000 square meters according to the characteristics of the relationship between the interior and exterior and the integration with the environment, which gives an important addition to the design of this type of projects.
