Abstract: Since ancient times, man and the earth have been in a reciprocal intimate relationship and ancient architecture has been closely related to natural elements, resulting in architectural styles influenced by every environment. Old architecture has created the concept of sustainability through spontaneous experiential compatibility to exploit environmental resources, as experience has evolved over the years. The idea of this research comes from absolute faith in the elements of traditional architecture that we have inherited from our ancestors and provided us with enormous solutions to the environmental problems of architecture, how to develop them to increase the yield and high performance of the architectural enclosure and solve the problem of excessive energy consumption in modern architecture techniques to suit modernity and Nature conservation for future generations. Therefore, the research topic was chosen, which is one of the most important requirements of the current era, due to the state of environmental and urban degradation and severe shortage of natural resources that affect the architectural, human and environmental conditions. Specially in Palestine as for the scarcity of natural resources are influenced by the political factors of the occupation the limited space. In an attempt to find solutions to this problem on the possibility of applying the concept of sustainability in Palestine, I hope to contribute to solving some of these problems taken by the practices of the occupation. In theory, environmental architecture contributes to the well-being of the human being and to meet his needs and to achieve internal environmental comfort while preserving the natural resources without harming the environment and nature. It is necessary to employ environmental elements that contribute to saving the operational energy and increase the high performance of the architectural cover, Thermal and energy in the building, utilizing the natural energy to make the architectural envelope works to polarize energy to meet the psychological needs of the building. As for the project, the reason for choosing V the project was because of the lack of an airport in the State of Palestine, the process of building a Palestinian airport contributes to the economic and political process in Palestine, either in terms of the relationship between research and project, the project of the airport is practically expensive in terms of material, The process of applying sustainable concepts and architectural cover helps reduce the total cost of the project and is a key reference to the sustainable construction process in Palestine, Building materials and construction strategies should be identified in order to reduce the thermal load on the project, resulting in reduced operational costs. The selection of materials should be environmentally friendly, which will help in the process of thermal recovery. And the application of sustainable solar strategies for the energy production process, making the project self-sufficient and not energy-intensive.
