Simulation of a product packaging system by FACTORY I/O and TIA Portal V13 softwares

Abstract

This work carried out within the Biskria Cement Plant presents the study of an automated production system (palletizer), and the realization of a program that ensures the start-up of this machine. For this, we have used a program under the environment of the TIA Portal V13 software for the SIMENS S7-1200 PLC to ensure the proper functioning of this machine. The TIA Portal V13 contains a SIEMENS PLC simulator such as the S7-1200. We used this simulator in our project to simulate programs and make the communication even with the absence of the real automaton. For supervision, we used the FACTORY I/O software.
