Other Titles: Langue, littérature et civilisation
Authors: belbel, rania chiraz
Issue Date: 20-Jun-2019
Abstract: Postcolonial writing is distinguished by textual clues of its own, namely, the miscegenation, the memory, the identity and the religiosity. We have chosen the chrysalis Aïcha Lemsine novel, to show that it was a postcolonial work. Then our problematic is, did Aïcha Lemsine, in her novel the chrysalis, use the elements of postcolonial theory? And how did she present them? Indeed, we have fond from a socio-historical analysis, that the author has actually approached the indices mentioned above. Key Words: postcolonialism, identity, memory, miscegenation, religiosity.
