This study, titled For an interim study of the Last Day of a Condemned Victor Hugo and his film adaptation of Michel Andrieu, is to analyze the similarity and divergence between the novel and the film. Our approach is based on a questionnaire of appreciation of the two artistic processes among readers - French-speaking spectators who are lovers of literature and film buffs. We first substantiated theories revolving around six main axes in our work: intermediality, self-projection, effect, narrative schema and reader and spectator. In a second step, we proceeded to the analysis of the questionnaires which we used in this study while discovering the techniques of anchoring novel and cinematographic to finally reach the nature of the transformation of the effects and the imagination of the support in paper to the audiovisual medium. Key words: intermediality, intermediate study, comparative study, comparison, self-projection, aesthetic effect, reading, reader, spectator, spectature, mental representation, Hugo.en_US
