Issue Date: 20-Jun-2019
Abstract: Abstract: Through this modest research, we wanted to study the space and its specific tone given to the novel Wuthering Heights by Emily BRONTE Our object of study in a general way is the romantic space brontian. In other words, our main concern is the poetics of space in Wuthering Heights We found it’s interesting to see how the places acquire a poetic dimension. In fact, the poetic space is our object of study, not that of reality, hence the title: “The poetics of space in Wuthering Heights” We therefore proposed to analyze the space in the novel and its relationship with the characters, while evoking the figures it represents (home, refuge, intimacy ...) and by realizing three figures of the Wuthering Heights Keywords: Space, poetic, symbolic, architecture, house, description
