Abstract: Title of the study The role of physical education and sports in the social upbringing of high school students Objectives of the study The study aims to Knowing the relationship between physical education and sports and the socialization of secondary school adolescents Knowing the extent of the professor s contribution to achieving the socialization of secondary school students Knowing the extent of the educational institution s contribution secondary stage to achieving socialization The study problem Does physical education and sports have a role in the social upbringing of secondary school pupils? Curriculum The method used is the descriptive approach Study population The study population consists of 150 secondary school students and 10 professors Tool used the instrument used for the questionnaire The most important results of the study The physical education and sports class contribute to achieving the socialization of secondary school students The role that a professor of physical education and sports plays in achieving socialization among students in the education stage The most important recommendations of the study Raising awareness of society in general and the family in particular of the importance of physical education and sports because of their psychological and physical benefits that positively affect the lives of students Giving priority to sports activities within the educational institution by providing conditions for educational and athletic success for adolescents, by providing appropriate conditions for practicing sports activity Taking into account the social problems that students suffer from by the professor of physical education and sports That there be a close relationship between the teacher and the students by getting close to them and working to listen to their psychological and social problems and not to marginalize them and work to solve them Support and encouragement from the family and guardians for students to practice sporting activities of all kinds, in order to create a kind of motivation and enthusiasm for students to avoid aggressive behavior as a result of repression and isolation
