Abstract

The topic of our research deals with the legal system of local administration in Algerian, legislation, as the local administration in Algerien legislation ,as the local administration is the embodiment of regional decentralization ,and the aim of it is to bring the administration closer to the citizen in order to meet his requirements and Algeria ,like other countries, adopted this method ,and this was demonstrated throgh the municipal and state systems . This study came as a basis to highlight the tasks undertaken by the local administration, whether the municipality or the state in Algeria, and to determine the totality of the powers entrusted to it in light of the legal amendments it is witnessing with the aim of promoting the level of local bodies. The Algerian legislator focused on many aspects the were considered qualitative additions, both at the level of municipal law or the state and this is with the aim of eliminating management imbalances that have become reflective of reality,and in order reflective of reality, and in order to activate its performance, it must be subjected to oversight, and this is to protect the interests of citizens.
