Abstract: Registration in the commercial register is one of the obligations of a person who has acquired a commercial status. was a natural or legal person; Therefore, the legislator sought to be aware of all its aspects from a legal point of view, and the registration is done by submitting the relevant documents and giving him the necessary data within his application file for registration, to obtain one copy of the extract of the register that includes his information and data of his activity, and he can add secondary entries in it, and the importance of the commercial register lies in that it supports credit and includes legal publicity; So that others can see the legal status of the merchant, as well as benefit the state in knowing the size of the commercial activity and the direction of the economy; Thus, registration has a statistical and media role; The registered person obtains the full commercial status; It enjoys rights and bears duties. It is also required in the concerned person to have the capacity of a merchant and to have his activity on the national territory, and he must respect all legal procedures when making the amendment and write-off, The person violating the rules of registration is also subject to penalties that vary from fines to temporarily withdrawing the register, stopping the activity, or seizing his goods and means of transport; This is according to the violation committed.
