The subject of this research focuses on the crime of genocide in terms of the definitions addressed by international conventions, such as the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, as well as on the elements of this crime and its distinctive characteristics from other crimes. The persons or persons targeted by the crime who form their own union are identified as a result of nationality, ethnic, customary or religious. The establishment of the International Criminal Court is an important step in the fight against crimes and the punishment of their perpetrators, as it deals with the most serious international crimes, foremost among which is the crime of genocide, which is called “the crime of crimes”.en_US
