This study aimed at: - To illustrate the differences in some anthropometric measurements and the results of physical tests according to the developmental stages of a child 6-11 years old. - Identify the differences between some anthropometric measurements and the results of physical tests between both sexes. - Identify the correlation between some anthropometric measurements and the results of the physical tests under study. The Study problem: Do some anthropometric measurements and physical test results have a statistically significant relationship according to stages of development for a child of 6-11 years old? Research method: The method used is descriptive in the correlation studies method. Study community: The study community consists of 126 informents 61of them are male children and 65 female primary school pupils of 6-11 years. Field procedures for the study: The study relied on a set of anthropometric measurements: Height, weight, chest circumference ,humerus circumference, thigh circumference) measured by Canadian-made Anthropometric bag RossCraft Centurion Kit- Precise Anthropometric Measuring Tool, We also relied on a set of physical tests such as: (flexibility test, 5*10 m shuttle running test, wide jump test of stability, clicking on the tablets test) approved by the European Group of Eurofit fitness tests, after collecting and unloading the data that have been introduced. In the spss vol 22 program with the following statistical coefficients: arithmetic averages, standard deviations, test "t", calculation of Pearson simple correlation coefficient. The most important results of the study: - Differences in the rate of growth of height and weight depending on age, in addition to indicating periods of stagnation in height and weight. - Differences in the growth rate of anthropometric measurements (chest circumference, humerus circumference, thigh circumference). - Differences in favor of females over males in the variable height and weight category (6-9 years). - The presence of differences in favor of males over females in the variable flexibility of the trunk category (9-11 years). - There is a direct correlation in males (6-9 years) between explosive force with all the anthropometric measurements under study. - There is a direct correlation in females (6-9 years) between explosive force with all the anthropometric measurements under study. - There is a relationship in the male inthe male category (6-9 years) between the speed of the upper limbs with all the anthropometric measurements under study. - There is a correlation in the female sin (6-9 years) between the speed of the upper limbs with all the anthropometric measurements under study. The study's most important recommendations: Providing the possibilities, pedagogical and scientific means needed by the child and necessary for the physical and athletic activity of the practitioner. Attention to sexual differences that arise at this stage between males and females. The provision of different gender programmes that take into account the physical and psychological characteristics without losing sight of the competition factor, which is an urgent necessity for children at this stage. - The necessity of accurate awareness of childhood stages, especially the elements of physical fitness, which are appropriate to its functional, biological, psychological and even social components. The importance of taking into account the physiological foundations that are consistent with the characteristics of growth during each age stage of the child's development, especially the middle and late childhood, in the development of physical and sports education programmes in addition to the development of curricular education. Taking into consideration the phenomenon of individual differences that are clearly manifested during different stages of growth. The importance of local studies on the development of children.en_US
