Abstract: The researcher has recognized the importance of conducting a study that reveals social responsibility and its relationship to the teaching competency in the session of physical and sport education in the light of the educational requirements of the subject and the approved modern curriculum for primary school teachers in Biskra state. Study question: Is there a correlation between social responsibility and teaching competency components for primary school teachers in light of the educational requirements of the subject and the approved modern educational curriculum? Study hypothesis: There is a correlation between social responsibility and the teaching competency components of primary school teachers in light of the educational requirements of the subject and the approved modern educational curriculum. Study aim: To check if there is a correlation between social responsibility and teaching competency components for primary school teachers in Biskra state during the physical and sport education session. Study significance: Realizing the importance of acquiring social responsibility and teaching competencies for primary school teachers and their impact on school life in particular. The method: we used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research. Data collection tool: a questionnaire as a main data collection tool to verify the hypotheses. Study sample: random sample of 295 primary school teachers. The research conducted in primary schools of Biskra state. Study results: There is a correlation between social responsibility and the teaching competency of primary school female teachers in light of the educational requirements of the subject and the approved modern educational curriculum. Recommendation: Authorities think rationally of employing graduates from science and technology institutes of physical and sports activities in primary schools to achieve the development of the most important aspects of the learner's characters.
