dc.description.abstractWe present an alternative functional variable method or briefly called FVM (in short) to analyze a class of wave equations, consisting in construction of exact travelling solutions. Some important nonlinear model equations which arise in a wide variety of physical problems have been presented as testbed to show the application of this method.
