dc.description.abstractThe Maghreb region has seen since the end of 2010 a Unique political transitions, for a long time this region has been immune to the waves of democratization and the successive changes which rocked many parts of the world and overthrow many dictatorial regimes , International and Arab research centres have concerned with those changes and created a sensation around many questions and issues. The aim of the study is discussing and analyzing the background and causes of the current political changes in the Maghreb region, its tracks, its repercussions, the role of the external factor, the transition indicators , challenges and future horizons, and their impact on its relations with the major powers and the future scenarios, the complex nature of the subject Imposed the division of the study in to Five chapters: In the first chapter we concerned with the conceptual and theoretical framework for the current political transitions phenomenon in the Maghreb region ,While the second and third chapters Spoke about the revolutionary transition in Tunisia and Libya through the Search on the nature and characteristics of the Tunisian and Libyan political systems during the reign of Ben Ali and Gaddafi, The motives and causes of the revolution on the two ,their tracks, the positions of international and regional powers ,transition indicators in the Tunisian and Libyan Political scenes after the revolution, the challenges and prospects for the safe transition towards democracy, The fourth chapter has been allocated To study the protest movements and new political reforms in Algeria and Morocco through ; motives and implications, proactive steps to both systems by analyzing their strategy and political reform initiatives and Constitutional reform -announced-and the position of the national forces, and the role of the major powers (the European Union and the United States)and the limits of their influence on the trails of the political reform in Algeria and Morocco, , Then discuss the major challenges facing the path of political reforms in both countries and the prospects overcome them, thereby contributing to guide these reforms to the correct destination and strengthening the foundations of true democracy, In the fifth and final chapter will discuss the implications of the current political changes in the Maghreb region on its relations with major powers, "the European Union" and the United States is "a model, and the future scenariosen_US
