Today, the purification of wastewater from urban cities has become an issue of most importance from the time when the volume of wastewater continues to grow. Apart from individual septic tanks in areas with no sewer, this treatment is done in wastewater treatment by processes involving microorganisms in the majority of cases. Unfortunately, we encounter the problem of disposal of settled sludge, which generally accumulate upstream of the treatment with bacteria. There is currently a system to solve this problem and requires virtually no energy expenditure is the use of wasteland where the treatment is done by the combined action of plants and micro-organisms in a filter bed is the treatment plants . This study aims to show, by physicochemical and bacteriological analysis, the role of microorganisms in macrophytes beds to purify the urban wastewater of rejecting the city of Biskra.en_US
