Abstract: The dissertation in titled the US Foreign Policy towards the South Caucasus: The Nagorno Karabakh Conflict a Case Study examines the role of the US as a mediator in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan from 1992 to 2020. It highlights the political decisions that are taken by the US presidents from the Bill Clinton administration to Donald Trump in resolving the conflict and their effectiveness in achieving a peaceful agreement. The research methodology used in this study includes qualitative, historical, and interpretive approaches. The dissertation is divided into three chapters. The first chapter conducts on the US Foreign Policy towards Central Asia. The second chapter is devoted to the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict. The third chapter deals with the US Foreign Policy towards the Nagorno-Karabakh Dispute. The findings of the study highlight the main decisions taken by the US presidents in addressing this dispute as well as the challenges that faced in balancing its interests and regional security.
