Abstract

In this study, we discuss the topic of "the language of youth and its communicative function, students of the University of Muhammad Kheidar Biskra as a model." The language issue is one of the most important contemporary topics, as it seeks to understand one of the new linguistic phenomena that pertain to the youth category, which prompted us to go to the field in order to find real scientific results from During our contact with the research community, we have sought to solve the research problem represented in the following question: What is the reality of the youth language in the university? From it, we also answered our sub-questions: What is the reality of communicative language in the university milieu? What are the jobs to be met by creating à special language for young people? We have been helped in this by a set of tools represented by participation observation and a guided interview that we conducted with a group of university youth who expressed their opinion on this phenomenon and answered the interview questions, and from it we drew a set of results, the most important of which is that the current language is a hybrid language that contributed to its emergence Its spread is the western technological revolution, which was invented and created by our youth in order to distinguish and create their own linguistic dictionary.
