dc.description.abstractThe problem of the study in the Toulga region included: 1. What are date palm diseases? 2. What are her traditional treatments? In order to answer this, the ethnographic approach was relied on, and the Tolga region was the largest and the first of them in Biskra and the western Zab for palm production. The study included 10 farmers, and we relied on observation and interview. The practice of an alternative doctor for palm trees is not easy and easy, as the respondents have passed through years of traditional and inherited experience, and each of them has become worthy of knowing the disease and its treatment, which is sometimes difficult for them, so they resort to some modern tools and means In this research, a number of diseases circulated in the studied area were presented and an attempt was made to explain them in the manner proposed by the respondents and a simplified scientific explanation and in the end, traditional treatment and recognized materials were addressed.en_US
