Abstract: Algerian-French relations went through different stages between cooperation and differences due to the geographical location of the two countries, which is a factor of rapprochement between them, and also left the colonial past that lasted 132 years is a factor that cannot be overlooked, as France realized the importance of Algeria, so the Evian Agreement was signed to maintain its link, and this granted a lot of privileges, especially economic, despite the tension of political relations at times, but the economic relationship remained at its best, and this is what gave France First place in terms of investment and thanks to this factor France was able to intervene in internal affairs, especially after the illness of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, and over the years and the multiplicity of presidents Vinsa, but its policy remained the same and did not change, and despite the differences between the two countries they kept trying to cooperate and translated this through several agreements within the framework of regional blocs in order to conduct things between them in the best case and try to develop competencies between the two countries.
