Where it is an important richness for the history of the region as an economic and social phenomenon, it provides us with important information not only about the economic aspect. Crafts also played a huge role in the prosperity of urbanization and the provision of labor, as there was an urgent need for this category of society, as each city became specialized in some industries that required it her needs. The craft activity in the countries of the Middle Maghreb has witnessed a change, and each craft has a designated place in the markets and squares. This is the result of the factors controlling the emergence of the activity. Among the influences, whether on mentalities or behavior, the artisans were affected by the wars, famines and problems that afflicted the central Maghreb, as they suffered from many deaths and disabilities due to wars, and also all their suffering was in the destruction of their factories, the taking of their agricultural lands, and the increase in taxes that made the craft activity deteriorate in the countries of the Central Maghreb between 2 AH And the 9th of Hijri.en_US
