dc.description.abstractThe note dealt with the question of identity between reality and hope in contemporary Arab thought (Edward Said as a model) and this is because he occupied a large and important part of Arab life so that Edward Said started The Palestinian critical thinker in his study of the issue of identity from his spatial life that made him suffer from identifiable anxiety since his childhood to conclude that the identity of the Arab world is a turbulent identity as a result of colonialism and the combination and merging of internal factors with foreign interventions. On the original Arab identity without falsification to be the last stop of Edward Said's project to achieve peace and coexistence so that humanity unites under a comprehensive identity.
