Abstract: | Vocabulary deficiency can have a significant impact on reading comprehension. students with limited vocabulary may struggle to understand the meaning of unfamiliar words, leading to difficulty in comprehending written texts. This can result in lower reading levels and poor academic performance. Research has shown that there is a strong correlation between vocabulary deficiency and reading comprehension. Effective vocabulary instruction can improve reading comprehension by providing students with the tools they need to decipher unfamiliar words and understand the meaning of the text. The study uses qualitative data to explore the impact of vocabulary deficiency on reading comprehension . The results of the study are expected to provide insights into the importance of vocabulary knowledge in reading comprehension and inform the development of effective strategies for improving literacy skills. Therefore, it is essential for educators and parents to prioritize vocabulary development to ensure successful reading comprehension. |
