Abstract: This study aimed to reveal the relationship between the uses of social media and academic achievement of the students, we have chosen Facebook as a model, and this is because it occupies the forefront in the ranking of social media sites, which is the first to be used by students in the final stage at the secondary school of Mohamed Boulounar- Biskra-. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, we used the descriptive approach method, and relied on the simple observation tool and the questionnaire form, which divided into three axes, to collect the information we need. The sample of the study consisted of (63) male and female students from the final stage who use Facebook in their academic achievement, and we applied the non-random quota sample. After the research process and answering the questions of the study, we reached to the following results: 1. Facebook helped the majority of students in acquiring new knowledge through scientific groups and pages. 2. The majority of students prefer to learn by watching educational videos. 3. The majority of students in the final stage participate in-group chats in Facebook for the purpose of academic and study review, as Facebook provides them with the technology of communication and interaction everywhere. 4. Most of the respondents like the idea of reviewing with the professor via Facebook, by interacting with him during the explanation and participation.
