Abstract: Th study aims to know the role of professional ethics in improving job performance, by revealing the role of the dimensions of professional ethics represente in honesty, commitment and perfection in improving job performance. To complete this study according to a scientific methodology, the study was divided into two aspects: theoretical and field, the first side was devoted to the theoretical framework, which contains three chapters, while the second side to the field side, which included two chapters. Based on the subject of the study and its objectives, a survey was conducted for all professors of the Department of Social Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mohamed Khider Biskra University to conduct the field study, which required a period of time from March 08 to May 20, 2023. The descriptive approach was used in the study, and relying on one of its tools during the collection of information, a questionnaire form consisting of 27 phrases according to the Likert triple scale, and it contained two sections: the first section included general data about the respondents, while the second section included three axes, namely the dimensions of the study [honesty - commitment - mastery], and it was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS v19 And relying on a set of statistical methods represented in frequencies and percentages, arithmetic mean and standard deviation, and Cronbach alpha coefficient to ensure the stability of the tool. After unpacking, analyzing the data and interpreting it quantitatively and qualitatively, the study reached the following results:  The honesty has a role in improving job performance.  Commitment has a role in improving job performance.  the perfection has a role in improving job performance. The general conclusion is that professional ethics play a role in improving job performance
