Abstract

Trough this study , we have tried to shed the light on the marital communication of a maritally compatible partner so as to answer these two question : What is the level of marital communication of a maritally compatible partner ? What are the communication skills that characterize the compatible partner in a marital relationship ? In this study, we have relied on the clinical approach according to the case study method through the use of the following tools : marital compatibility measure, semi-guided clinical interview, marital communication measure and observation . This study was applied on three cases of maritially compatible partners . The results of this empirical study are as follows : The level of marital communication of the three research cases in high. Despite the fact that all cases share their being characterized by a set of marital communication skills which are : the good understanding skill, listening skill, conversation skill, but they differ in the following skills : choosing the right time skill, responding to non verbal means skill. Finally, we conclude with stating a set of proposals for the purpose of developing research horizons in this domain .
