dc.description.abstractMaïssa’s Cette fille-là novel involves stories of the nine female characters, despite its singular title. One of them, who were called Malika, plays the role of heroine, narrator and confidante. As long as she is a homodiegetic narrator, she alternates her existence in the narrative with that of eight other characters in the parts devoted to them because she does not have a personal part. In stories, the author wants through these to raise the importance of the female voice of the Algerian woman. And above all defending their legitimate rights and insisting on the power of words, for these women subject to the influence of silence and exteriorizing their outraged, jettisoned, annulled ego calms them and pain and also softens their despairen_US
