dc.description.abstractThe current study aimed to research the nature of the relationship between PTSD and psychosocial support in mothers of children with cancer. We used the associative descriptive approach on a sample of mothers estimated at 40 mothers, where we applied the PTSD scale (pssi-5), and the psychosocial support scale (prepared by the two students), where we reached the following results: - The level of PTSD is high in mothers of children with cancer - The most visible post-traumatic symptoms in mothers were cognitive and mood changes, followed by symptoms of hyperexcitation, to come after the symptoms of re-experience, while the symptoms of avoidance recorded the last order in terms of appearance in the members of the sample. - The level of psychosocial support is average in mothers. - The existence of a negative and statistically functionative correlation between PTSD and the level of psychosocial support in mothers of children with canceren_US
