dc.description.abstractThis research, titled “The educational picture in the reading books for the third and fourth year of primary school and its impact on language achievement,” raises an important issue represented in the extent of the picture’s effect on the language acquisition of the students of the two stages (the two phases), where we touched at the beginning on a preliminary introduction about the educational process Then we moved to the first chapter, in which we presented the following: the concept of the image, then the educational image, followed by its conditions, then its types, then teaching the methods of reading it, and its relationship to the linguistic achievement of the learner. As for the second chapter, it was represented in the applied side, where we dealt with an introduction about the concept of the textbook, followed by the descriptive and analytical study of the images that the two sample books carry between them and the extent of their effectiveness in the linguistic and cognitive development of the studenten_US
