Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the concept of time in the novel "Land of Peace" by HebaShenofi and observe how time is portrayed in the narrative. This research aims to study the concept of time in the narrative text, uncover its nature, and analyze its construction within the novel. The first chapter focuses on the narrative structure of time, including retrieval, anticipation, and storytelling techniques. The second chapter applies two types of time: psychological time and historical time. The novel is filled with time and its various forms. This is the main focus of the study: Both psychological and historical time dominate the novel.
