Abstract

"The Political theater played an active role in the Arab world in general, and Algeria in particular, as it is considered the optimal means of expressing various, socially, and economically. "In this study, we attempted to address the political dimensions in Algerian political theater, and the play "WAq" Al-Ahzea Al-Muta’ba )’ The Impact of Tired Shoes(served as a model for this study. Through it, we aimed to uncover the nature of the relationship between art and politics,and extract everything related to the political dimensions,discussing the concept of theater,play,and political theater,relying on a descriptive-analytical approach. "The study began with an introduction and concluded with a conclusion. It consisted of two chapters, the first being theoretical and encompassing theoretical concepts,while the second chapter focused on the study of the play as an applied study,extracting the political dimensions of the events,characters,setting,time,conflict,and dialogue. This chapter was the most crucial part of the study. " Among the most significant findings extracted from this study is that theater is a reflective mirror of society’sreality in various fields,and this is what the play "waq" Al-Ahzea Al- Muta"ba"ah"by Salim Bataqa attempted to address through its portrayal of the political aspect in Algeria,specifically the popularmovement
