Abstract

The stylistic study in the “Tawbah bin Al-Humayyir Al-Khafaji” Diwan seeks to show stylistic phenomena and their characteristics. This study contains a methodology that includes an introduction and an entrance in which we discussed a set of concepts represented in general concepts of stylistics, its directions and basic stylistic analysis mechanisms. The first chapter deals with internal and external rhythm to highlight sound characteristics. The second chapter deals with the syntactic structure of verbs, nouns, pronouns, and informative and constructive styles. The last chapter represents semantic fields and rhetorical images represented in metaphor, simile, and metonymy. Finally, the conclusion contains the most important results obtained from this study, followed by an appendix, then a list of sources and references used in this study.
