Abstract

We sought, through our study entitled “The Narrative Imaginary in Kalila and Dimna (Selected Examples)”, to reveal the manifestations of the narrative imaginary and how it is formed in some of the stories of this book. They are between application and theorizing.We devoted the first chapter to analyzing the characters and defining the narrative movement techniques in the models of the stories of this book.As for the second chapter, we analyzed the imagined time and place, and extracted the latent suggestions between the folds of some models, and we reached a conclusion that included the most important findings of the study. And an appendix in which we dealt with the definition of Ibn al-Muqaffa and the book Kalila wa Dimna. Finally, we hope that this study will open new horizons for research and shed light on this literary masterpiece
