Abstract: Mental maps are among the visual means that help the learner understand, omprehend, and easily memorize and retrieve information at any time, and they also help the teacher provide lessons and review for his learners, partially or completely, as they are considered an effective tool for organizing and extracting information.In this research, entitled "The Role of the Mental Map in Language Achievement among Intermediate Stage Pupils: Ghumry Hussein Intermediate School as a Model," we decided to follow a specific plan, so we divided this research into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. In this research entitled “The Role of the Mental Map in the Language Achievement of Intermediate Stage Pupils, Ghumry Hussein as a Model,” we decided to follow a specific plan, so we divided this research into an introduction, an entry, two chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction is titled as General Concepts in the research, then the first chapter is titled with the mental map and linguistic attainment. As for the second chapter, it is titled “The Effectiveness of the Mental Map in Linguistic Achievement” and it was purely field. Finally, we concluded our research with a conclusion, which included the most important results of scientific research as a whole. The importance of this study lies in facilitating the educational process for both the learner and the teacher in facilitating the delivery of his lessons and answering the lightness of their collection and the speed of their absorption and memorization for the learner. Among the most prominent results reached is that it defines the pillars of the learning process in the course of the scientific curriculum and greater linguistic and scientific attainment, by using the visual method (mental map), unlike the traditional methods.
