Abstract

This study titled "Constructive Methods in the Novel: Let My Heart Be Assured, by the Creative Adham El-Sharqawi - A Discursive Study" includes an introduction that serves as an entry point to the subject, as well as two chapters that contain various sub-elements to clarify the details of the study. The first chapter focuses on defining the prescriptive constructive methods, listing their categories, and explaining the instances mentioned in each classification according to John Searle's classifications of speech acts. It also provides conclusions regarding the reasons for categorizing them according to each perspective. The second and final chapter addresses the non-prescriptive constructive methods, listing their categories and providing explanations for the instances mentioned in each classification according to John Searle's classifications of speech acts. It also discusses the reasons behind including each method in a specific category. Additionally, there is a conclusion that summarizes the results obtained from the study
