Abstract: The aim of this study entitled: “Developing Linguistic Performqnce Through Understqnding operqtive texts” for the fourth year of primry school, is to determine the reality of the field of operative understanding in developing the pupil’s linguistic performance and to stand on the most important desired competnce, which is oral expression, and the most important problems facing the pupils in this field (Hearing, speech,and oral problems) Through this study we found: the fild of understanding the operative is considered one of the most important fields in use, and through it the pupil is able to express the ideas that are going through his thoughts, as it contributes to the development of the pupil’s linguistic wealth.
