Abstract: This study aimed to reveal the role of leadership styles in determining the organization culture in the Sonatrach Corporation-Directorate of Maintenance in Biskra-. The adopted leadership styles are the transformational and transactional leadership, while the organization culture was measured through four types: the clan culture, the creativity culture, the hierarchical culture, and the market culture. The researcher based on the descriptive and analytical approach. The study used simple random sample of a set Biskra Maintenance Directorate’ employees, in 100 employees, the primary data was gathered by used the questionnaires. The study found the following results: 1) There is a strong positive relationship between transformational leadership and organizational culture with its dimensions, as the correlation coefficient was 0.710. 2) There is a medium positive relationship between transactional leadership and organizational culture with its dimensions, as the correlation coefficient was 0.499. 3) Leadership Styles play a significant role in determined the organization culture types, as their explain 43.3% of the change in the organization culture. 4) Transformational leadership plays a significant role in determined the organization culture types, as it explains 50.05% of the change in the organization culture. 5) Transactional leadership plays a significant role in determined the organization culture types, as it explains 24.9% of the change in the organization culture. 6) Transformational leadership plays an important role in determined the creativity culture in the Biskra Maintenance Directorate more than rest of the organization culture types, as it explains 51.5% of the change in the creativity culture. The explanations and recommendations are also proposed.
